Joseph Hinora is a registered psychologist with over 25 years of extensive experience in independent private practice in South Australia. He has a strong counselling and evidence based therapeutic orientation including CBT, and works with individuals and couples on a broad range of presenting conditions including Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, and Relationship matters such as, separation, divorce, anger management etc.. He also has an interest in the psychological treatment of Tinnitus and Pain Management.

Joseph is a Member of: the Australian Psychological Society; Australian Association of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Member and Past President (SA) of the Institute of Private and Practicing Psychologists. He is also a Past President of the Australian Association of Relationship Counsellors (SA) and hold Master Clinician Membership with that organisation.

Clinical Hypnosis

Joseph has had a long standing involvement with Clinical Hypnosis including Past President (SA) of the Australian Society of Hypnosis and is a visiting Clinical Lecturer in the Society's Post Graduate Program for health professionals presenting on topics such as Anxiety, Depression, Ego Strengthening and Pain Management.

Return to Work SA / Workplace Issues / EAP / Mediation

Over the years, Joseph has been able to balance his clinical/counselling work with his interest in organisational and workplace issues and as such is involved with the psychological assessment and treatment of workplace injury and management. He is a Professional Certified Member of the Australian Human Resource Institute and a Member of the Aust. Psych. Society's College of Organisational Psychologists. He has been guest speaker at a number of conferences including WorkCover and the National Council of Self Insurers and has run numerous workshops on a variety of management and workplace topics.

Organisational Change and Culture / Coaching Psychology / Work-Life Balance

Joseph has long standing experience in Organisational Change/Culture and Coaching Psychology as well as Work-Life balance issues. He has a particular interest in coaching high performing individuals from a broad range of industry/professional backgrounds around improving personal effectiveness and developing Work-Life balance strategies. He regularly presents and consults to organisations on a number of management issues including leadership, teams etc. Joseph also has a particular interest in consumer psychology including buyer/seller behaviour.
